Facebook

Facebook, or FB for short, is an American social networking service and social media website founded by Mark Zuckerberg on February 4, 2004 and headquartered in Menlo Park, California. The original name was “thefacebook“, inspired by the address book “face book” provided by American high schools.

Facebook has grown rapidly since its inception and has become one of the largest social networks in the world.
